It’s always a great feeling when we see “One of our own” doing great things!

I’ve know Wayne “Lemo Live” Lemessy for many years and having recently reconnected, it was especially heartwarming to see that he’s continued to make the music he loves while keeping his feet firmly on the ground. Now although musicians may not been seen as your typical entrepreneur, successfully balancing the business of music as well as staying creative is no easy task!

The 18 Question series features an awesome group of up and coming, as well as seasoned Entrepreneurs, who give us a glimpse behind the scenes. A sneak peak into their personal lives and into their businesses. Their stories are meant to inspire and encourage us. Today we meet Lemo Live!

Can you describe yourself in 3 words?

Passionate, high energy and filled with a love to serve others.

What was your first job?

Being a musician.

When did you know that you wanted to be an entrepreneur?

Looking back I think unconsciously, from about age 15.

What was your first business venture?

Forming my first Rock band in high school.

When it comes to your business, how do you deal with rejection?

I just keep pushing forward and make course corrections as needed.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever gotten?

Take Massive Action.

What’s the worst advice you’ve ever received?

Good things come to those who wait, is one that comes to mind.

Can you describe a moment or day when you felt like giving up?

Yes when I got fired from that band I started from ground up.

What or who motivates you to keep pressing on?

The centering thought that I’m here to make others “feel better,” through my art, and my belief that in this universe, there is something greater than myself.

If your life had a theme song, what would it be?

“Hold On” (I’m gonna fight for myself when the going gets rough- Original song)

If you were left on a deserted island for a month and could only bring three things, what would you bring?

My Guitar, Pen/Paper and my Drum!

Team Cats or Team Dogs? 😉

How about none?? lol I think Dogs 🐶

Morning person or late night?

I’m a little of both.

Briefly describe your morning or night time routine?

Each morning I take time out for meditation and gratitude and my nights end with a reflection of my day and more gratitude with some positive audio or video.

Beach or the Mountains?

Both. I’m going to the mountains right after this interview. 😊

Proudest Business achievement thus far?

Changing my mindset towards the new music industry and working to connect with fans on a more organic level.

What advice can you share with an up and coming entrepreneur?

Work smart/hard and take massive action and also speak into the universe what you really want.

And our last question: Where do you see yourself and your business in the next 5 years?

I see my business moving more into music production and working with a number of talented artist. Also having a team of like minded producers to leverage my efforts so that I can balance my time with my family. ❤️
